Andy Zylak

General Manager

Andy Zylak is General Manager of Shionogi Canada Inc. and is responsible for overseeing the operations and growth of the business in Canada. Andy leads the Canadian team with a focus on bringing new treatments to market which address unmet medical needs, including rare diseases. He has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

In his previous roles, Andy served as head of the Canadian neuroscience business unit at Allergan. He was also Vice President of the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Business Unit at AstraZeneca Canada, and has extensive experience in sales, sales management, market access, marketing management and senior leadership, including launch and specialty care experience.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from the University of Western Ontario, and Post Graduate Teacher Certification from D’Youville College.
