Selected as a “DX Noteworthy Company” for the Third Consecutive Year (DX Stocks 2025)

Shionogi & Co., Ltd. has been selected for the third consecutive year as a “DX Noteworthy Company” under the DX Stocks 2025 program, jointly organized by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE).

The DX Stocks program recognizes companies in each industry that have demonstrated outstanding initiatives in digital transformation. In fiscal year 2025, 31 companies were named DX Stocks and 19 companies, including Shionogi, were selected as DX Noteworthy Companies. Shionogi’s innovative use of digital technologies to transform its business has been highly acclaimed.

SAS Customer Recognition Awards 2024

At the SAS Customer Recognition Awards 2024, which featured 47 companies from around the world, Shionogi became the first Japanese company to win First Place in the Innovative Problem Solver category.

This award recognizes organizations that have achieved breakthrough results in solving business challenges using SAS technologies. Shionogi earned top honors for developing the AI-SAS Programmer (AI-SAS) — an AI-driven system that dramatically improved the efficiency of clinical trial data analysis and accelerated the pace of new drug development.

Japan Data Drivers Awards 2024

Shionogi received the highest honor, “DATA DRIVER OF THE YEAR,” at the Japan Data Drivers Awards 2024, which celebrates leading organizations advancing data utilization and analytics. The award recognized Shionogi’s achievements in promoting data-driven management and applying data science across its operations.

Peatix Community Awards 2025 – Technology / Innovation Award

Shionogi was also honored with the Technology / Innovation Award at the Peatix Community Awards 2025. This award is presented to organizations that leverage technology to drive innovative initiatives and create new social value through their work.

This award is associated with Gamma Wave Sound ^TM (GAMMA WAVE).
