Providing diverse learning opportunities for children
Currently, it is difficult for children to express their individuality in the society. There are not many places where they can see, discover, and explore their individuality. In April of 2023, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has set a task force to guarantee rights of learning for students not attending school, so no one is left behind. In this task force, a plan has been developed to reduce the number of students who can’t access learning to zero. ※1
Shionogi has established a department called “Office for Children’s Bright Future” in April of 2017, and we have worked to support the learning and healthy growth of children who will bear our future.
In April of 2023, we concluded a partnership agreement to create a society where children can express their individuality with The ROHTO Foundation for Children's Future which have worked similar activities to Shionogi.
We aim to improve the well-being of each child through developing and providing attractive learning programs as the first step for creating places where children can express their individuality to live independently in the future.
