Building on more than six decades of expertise in infectious diseases, Shionogi is committed to discovering and developing solutions in areas where patients continue to face significant unmet need. Our work spans multidrug-resistant Gram-negative infections, acute respiratory viral infections, including influenza, HIV, serious fungal infections and other infectious diseases where improved prevention, treatment and care remain urgently needed.
Through innovation in antibacterial medicines, antiretroviral therapies and novel antifungal treatments, we aim to help address some of the world's most pressing infectious disease challenges and improve outcomes for patients around the world.
