General Employer Action Plan based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next- Generation Children

To promote the development of a working environment where employees can achieve a balance between work and child rearing, and to enable all employees to enhance their willingness to contribute to the company, continue to shape their careers, have job satisfaction, and maximize their existing capabilities, we have formulated the 8th General Employer Action Plan based on the 7th Action Plan, which lasted for two years from April 2017.

Two years from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2021

Plan details

Fostering personal awareness of employees and promoting understanding of those around them

Goal 1:
Encourage employees with time constraints and restrictions to shape their careers without taking a break in their careers.
Introduce a system that actively supports employees’ investment in themselves to help them grow personally.
Goal 2:
Spread awareness that a well-balanced way of working to enrich one’s life leads to an increase in personal motivation, resulting in productivity improvement, and propagate values based on this awareness.
Consider the introduction of a system that enables employees to clearly visualize the ways of working to help them work more efficiently.

Efforts to promote diversity in ways of working

Goal 3:
Introduce a system that enables employees to work flexibly to improve productivity.
Adopt a working-at-home system.
Goal 4:
Encourage employees to actively take annual paid leave.
Set a minimum goal to take annual paid leave and announce the goal to all employees.
Encourage employees who take just a few annual paid holidays to actively take paid leave.
